The Survey Project Manager (Professional Land Surveyor) role is onsite in Tucson, AZ; compensation is not specified. Alta Environmental & Infrastructure provides civil engineering, surveying, geotechnical and materials testing, environmental, and EHS services across Arizona, supporting land development, engineering, and construction projects in and around Tucson. This role plans and supervises survey crews and office staff, conducts and reviews land surveys, and ensures survey documents meet applicable legal and professional standards. It supports project planning and execution through accurate boundary and topographic data, quality control, and coordination with clients and project partners.

What you'll do

• Plan and supervise field survey crews and office staff
• prepare and review boundary, ALTA/NSPS, and topographic surveys, plats, and legal descriptions
• use surveying instruments, GPS, robotic total stations, and CAD software to collect and analyze data
• interpret records to determine boundaries and easements
• ensure regulatory compliance
• maintain records and prepare reports and maps
• coordinate with project partners
• perform quality checks and approve final survey documents.
