Senior Heavy Civil Estimator

Job overview

The Senior Heavy Civil Estimator role is hybrid, with regular weekly work from the Houston, TX office. Compensation is $120,000–$160,000 per year, with a performance-based bonus opportunity. What you'll do

• Prepare estimates for heavy civil and public infrastructure projects
• manage estimates through bid submission
• perform quantity takeoffs, pricing, bid preparation, and scope analysis
• review plans and bid documents for requirements and risks
• develop labor, equipment, material, subcontractor, and production assumptions
• evaluate bid opportunities
• solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier proposals
• maintain estimating data
• coordinate with operations
• participate in bid reviews and handoffs
• improve estimating processes.
