Fuel Compliance Technician

Job overview

The Fuel Compliance Technician works onsite in Houston, TX, and requires 75% travel, with travel of up to 1,000 miles per week as needed and occasional overnight stays. Compensation is $25–$32 per hour. The role provides maintenance and compliance services for petroleum-industry and commercial or municipal refueling facilities. What you'll do

• Perform monitoring certification, secondary-containment and spill-bucket testing, and vapor-recovery testing and repairs
• complete daily vehicle inspections and work-order paperwork
• maintain and repair refueling equipment
• troubleshoot fuel systems
• interpret diagnostic reports
• follow regulatory requirements
• document compliant and observed non-compliant conditions
• act as job-site safety officer and implement company safety policies.
