Dental Hygienist

The Dental Hygienist role is onsite in Putnam, CT, with compensation of $42–$50 per hour. Az Dental seeks a caring Registered Dental Hygienist to provide patient-focused dental care. The hygienist welcomes and prepares patients, discusses care plans, records histories and vital signs, evaluates gum health, removes plaque, applies fluoride, takes X-rays, and teaches oral hygiene. The role supports safe, comfortable dental visits and the dentist’s exams and procedures.

What you'll do

• Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable
• discuss dental care plans and answer questions
• prepare sterilized equipment for the dentist
• record vital signs and medical and oral health histories
• evaluate signs of gum disease
• remove plaque and apply fluoride
• teach oral hygiene techniques
• take X-rays
• follow health, safety, and office policies.

Why this role
