Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse

The Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse role is onsite in Rock Hill, SC. Compensation is a flat $320 per week plus additional compensation for visits, admissions, and death visits. Interim HealthCare Hospice provides after-hours and weekend hospice coverage for patients and families. The nurse assesses patient and family needs, develops and updates care plans with the interdisciplinary group, coordinates services, administers prescribed treatments, and provides education and symptom-management support. The role helps maintain continuity of hospice care during on-call periods, including phone calls, PRN visits, admissions, and death visits.

What you'll do

• Respond to after-hours and weekend calls

• complete initial and ongoing patient and family assessments
• develop and revise care plans with the interdisciplinary group, patient, family, and attending physician
• coordinate care and services
• administer prescribed medications and treatments
• educate patients and families
• document services
• attend interdisciplinary meetings
• participate in quality improvement.
