The Cook role is onsite at Sequoia Living Viamonte in Walnut Creek, CA. Compensation is $22–$26 per hour. The cook supports Morrison Living’s culinary team serving a senior living community. The role prepares and serves food according to recipes, schedules, and food-safety standards. Consistent portioning, presentation, temperature control, and kitchen cleanliness support quality food service for residents and guests.

What you'll do

• Prepare food according to standardized recipes and service schedules
• serve meals or prepare them for delivery
• portion food and maintain temperature and presentation standards
• maintain service records
• clean the kitchen and store or discard food safely
• maintain refrigerators and storerooms
• operate and maintain kitchen equipment
• assist with production planning, records, ordering, and receiving
• report maintenance needs and accidents
• follow HACCP and company safety procedures.
