Business Development Representative

Job overview

The Business Development Representative role is full-time and onsite in Reston, VA. Compensation is $22–$27 per hour. The role supports member outreach and financial product services for a banking or credit union organization. The representative contacts existing members, identifies financial needs, and connects them with appropriate products and services. The role contributes to business development by meeting sales goals, building referral relationships, and supporting a positive member experience.

What you'll do

• Make outbound calls to targeted member lead lists
• identify financial needs and sales opportunities
• recommend financial products and services using consultative selling
• present and cross-sell solutions and close or refer opportunities
• open and close accounts and process membership applications
• support loan applications and financial transactions
• build relationships with Select Employee Groups and referral partners
• meet sales and activity goals
• maintain accurate records and handle confidential information
• collaborate with internal teams
• participate in occasional local events and occasional Saturday work as needed.
