Authorization Representative

Job overview

The Authorization Representative role is onsite in Edison, NJ, with compensation of $22–$28 per hour. KabaFusion is a home infusion company with a national network of pharmacies and nursing offices serving more than 40 states. The representative secures insurance verification, authorizations, and start-of-care documentation so patients can continue care without delay, while supporting compliant service delivery and accurate claims.

What you'll do

• Provide telephone support to patients, families, referral sources, payers, and clinical staff
• verify insurance coverage and benefits
• complete start-of-care and financial obligation forms
• collect and document cost-share and authorization details
• track authorization needs and expirations
• notify stakeholders of approvals, issues, or delays
• estimate patient financial responsibility
• maintain accurate electronic medical record documentation
• assist with resolving claim rejections
• protect patient health information under HIPAA.
