Dental Receptionist – Float

The Dental Receptionist – Float role is an onsite position based in Bakersfield, CA, with coverage at other sites within the same county as needed, sometimes without advance notice. What you'll do

• Greet and register patients
• verify insurance eligibility or income
• check patients in and notify the back office
• schedule appointments according to written protocols
• assess walk-in needs and arrange work-in appointments
• answer and direct calls
• review route slips for posting and billing accuracy
• confirm appointments
• collect and record payments
• scan documents
• follow daily deposit procedures
• maintain patient confidentiality and predictable in-person attendance.
