Registered Nurse (RN), Pediatrics — Night Shift

The Registered Nurse (RN), Pediatrics role is onsite in Decatur, IL, with night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM and every other weekend required. Compensation is not specified. The nurse works in an 11-room, 16-bed pediatric unit at an acute care hospital.

What you'll do

• Provide pediatric nursing care within scope, float as needed, and use Cerner for charting.
• Required experience includes pediatric medical-surgical and pediatric step-down/telemetry settings, insulin administration, feeding and breast milk support, oral/nasogastric tube placement, peripheral line care and IV starts, pediatric dosage calculations, suctioning, oxygen delivery, infection prevention, isolation precautions, and wound assessment and care.
• BLS, PALS, and an active Illinois license or active application with an estimated arrival are required.
