The Pediatrician role is onsite in Newton, KS; compensation is not specified. The physician will care for children from the newborn period through adolescence and help NMC Health strengthen pediatric access for families in Newton and surrounding Kansas communities. The role contributes to a connected community-based pediatric model spanning outpatient pediatrics, newborn care, and acute inpatient pediatric services. It supports continuity of care and collaboration with pediatric advanced practice providers.

What you'll do

• Provide care for newborn and pediatric patients
• contribute to outpatient pediatrics, newborn care, and acute inpatient pediatric services
• collaborate with pediatric APPs
• support evidence-based medicine, patient safety, quality improvement, and family-centered care. Requires eligibility for Kansas medical licensure and NMC Health medical staff appointment and clinical privileges, as well as current or obtainable DEA registration and required life-support certifications.
