What you'll do

• Process daily billing activities
• verify patient benefits, eligibility, and coverage
• audit claims for completeness and accuracy before submission
• correct payer edits and rejections
• report billing issues and process improvements
• resolve patient cases by phone or written communication
• process virtual payments and insurance refunds
• research missing payments
• reconcile collection accounts
• comply with HIPAA.
