Executive Chef

The chef will help establish a new Metropolitan Museum of Art restaurant with Restaurant Associates and chefs Rita Sodi and Jody Williams. The role translates the chefs’ culinary vision into consistent daily operations, leading menu development, kitchen standards, team development, and back-of-house operations while supporting a welcoming guest experience and special events.

What you'll do

• Uphold the culinary vision developed with Chef Rita Sodi and Chef Jody Williams
• lead menu development and seasonal updates
• maintain standards for flavor, technique, and presentation
• build and mentor the culinary team
• oversee ordering, inventory, scheduling, food safety, sanitation, and food and labor costs
• coordinate with front-of-house leadership and museum partners
• support special events and member programming.
