The Quest Migration Pro Subject Matter Expert role is an onsite, full-time position in Fort Meade, MD, paying $85,000–$100,000 per year. Global Enterprise Services is seeking support for the Defense Enclave Services program, a digital modernization initiative for DISA and Department of Defense Fourth Estate agencies. The SME serves as the technical authority for enterprise Active Directory migrations using Quest Migration Manager or Quest Migrator Pro. The role leads migration planning and execution while coordinating with directory, identity, endpoint, security, and program teams to migrate users and systems securely with minimal operational impact.

What you'll do

• Plan, design, and execute enterprise Active Directory migrations using Quest tools
• develop migration strategies for users, groups, computers, service accounts, and security principals
• create runbooks, wave plans, rollback procedures, and technical documentation
• configure Quest Migration Manager components and agents
• design and troubleshoot Active Directory trusts
• implement and validate SID History migration
• perform workstation profile migrations
• coordinate with endpoint and identity teams
• troubleshoot migration failures
• develop PowerShell automation
• support security assessments and STIG-compliant solutions
• provide technical leadership during cutovers and stabilization.

Why this role

Requires an active DoD Secret clearance, relevant Active Directory and Quest migration experience, and a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CISSP, or equivalent). A bachelor’s or master’s degree with specified experience is listed, with additional experience potentially considered in lieu of a degree.
