Security Associate — Second Shift

The Security Associate is an onsite role in Concord, NC, with compensation of $18 per hour. The position supports Carvana’s Safe & Secure team, which protects associates, customers, and vehicles at Carvana locations. The associate helps keep the site safe and operational by monitoring access, tracking vehicle movement, identifying hazards, and responding to incidents. Accurate reporting and coordination with Inspection Center and Logistics teams support secure, efficient site operations.

What you'll do

• Serve as a gate contact for associates, vendors, and visitors
• monitor cameras and investigate intrusion alerts
• enforce entry and exit procedures using security applications and RFID
• document vehicle movement
• complete first aid, CPR, and AED training and respond when needed
• follow emergency protocols
• support weather-related site safety
• conduct safety audits and vehicle scans
• research vehicle locations and report findings.

Why this role

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 7:00 p.m.–3:30 a.m.; Monday and Thursday 5:00 p.m.–1:30 a.m. Full-time hourly position. Visa sponsorship is not available; hiring is contingent on a background check.
