The dentist provides diagnostic and treatment services for patients, develops treatment plans, maintains timely electronic health records, and refers patients for specialty care when needed. The role also contributes to quality improvement work and clinically supervises Advanced Education in General Dentistry residents.

What you'll do

• Perform dental examinations and create treatment plans
• provide treatment according to plans
• maintain accurate patient records in the EHR and complete documentation on time
• refer patients to external or specialty care as needed
• participate in quality metrics, peer review, and quality improvement projects
• supervise AEGD residents and review and co-sign their patient notes.
