Data Engineer II — PostgreSQL & Amazon Redshift

The Data Engineer II — PostgreSQL & Amazon Redshift role is onsite in Charlotte, NC, with compensation of $59–$69 per hour. It is a 12-month contract with potential extension supporting a large power and utilities client’s nuclear data products, reporting, analytics, integrations, and downstream consumers.

What you'll do

• Administer PostgreSQL and Redshift across development, test, QA, and production
• manage database objects, access, standards, documentation, and recovery procedures
• diagnose and optimize performance and capacity
• establish monitoring and alerts
• support incident triage and root-cause analysis
• review database changes and deployments
• advise engineering and application teams
• and support approved data consumers and integrations. Participate in production support and the on-call model.

Why this role
