Direct Support Professional (DSP)

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) role is onsite in the Lewiston/Auburn area of Maine, with compensation of $16.25–$19.00 per hour depending on experience and certifications. The position provides Home and Community-Based Services under MaineCare waiver programs. The DSP supports individuals in living safely and independently, engaging in their communities, and pursuing personal goals. The role provides person-centered assistance with daily living, tracks individual goals, and coordinates with team members, families, and care coordinators.

What you'll do

• Assist with activities of daily living including hygiene, meals, and mobility
• support community integration and social engagement
• implement and track individual goals
• promote health, safety, and well-being
• complete documentation and communication
• collaborate with team members, families, and care coordinators
• follow Individual Support Plans and applicable Maine HCBS requirements.
