Dispatcher — Animal Field Operations

What you'll do

• Receive and log ambulance, rescue, and investigation calls
• enter call information into the computer system
• dispatch calls to officers and monitor their location and safety
• respond to two-way radio transmissions
• answer incoming calls and refer unrelated inquiries to the appropriate department or agency
• facilitate return of seized animals to owners when appropriate.

Why this role

Schedule is Friday–Monday, 8 a.m.–6 p.m. A high school diploma or GED is required; dispatch or call center experience is preferred. Applicants must be at least 21 and pass pre-employment drug and background screening.
