What you'll do
- Ensure patients’ health needs are met
- communicate with supervisors about medications, treatments, and therapy requirements
- document care and patient responses
- assist with supervision of nursing assistants, meal assistants, and transportation aides
- maintain communication with physicians and health team members
- administer medications as ordered
- make rounds with the medical director or physicians as assigned
- assist in evaluating support staff
- give and receive daily patient reports.
