This role exists to operate heavy equipment, including dozers, loaders, and dump trucks, to manage salt stacks and ensure the smooth feeding of salt to production lines. The operator is responsible for equipment maintenance, safety compliance, and accurate record-keeping.

What you'll do

• Operate heavy equipment like a backhoe, loader, bull dozer, articulated dump truck, etc.
• Operate dozer on all levels of a stack of salt.
• Prepare the salt stack to set the salt box.
• Make Salt cuts to control the feeding of salt to the stack.
• Complete daily reports of salt movement.
• Inspect, operate and monitor conveyor belts, salt boxes and wings, diverter chute boxes, hoppers, scale equipment, magnet, dozer, and all electrical cords.
