Sales Development Representative

Job overview

The Sales Development Representative role is hybrid in Austin, TX, with three days in the office and two days remote. The listed base salary is $70,000–$80,000 per year, with a performance-driven variable compensation plan. SourceDay’s purchase order platform connects ERP systems with suppliers to help customers keep purchase orders current and reduce supply-chain disruption. The representative builds pipeline through inbound and outbound prospecting, identifies target accounts, qualifies leads, and books discovery calls for senior sales representatives when appropriate. The role helps SourceDay develop qualified sales opportunities by understanding prospects’ procurement and supply-chain needs.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain an outbound pipeline of target accounts
• qualify inbound leads and demo requests
• conduct pre- and post-event outreach
• contact prospective customers by phone, email, and social media
• identify business needs and buying committee members
• maintain daily activity metrics
• represent SourceDay at 1–2 tradeshows per year.
