Membership Experience Leader

Job overview

The Membership Experience Leader role is onsite in Suffolk, VA, with pay of $13–$14 per hour. At the YMCA of South Hampton Roads, the position supports the organization’s mission of strengthening communities. The leader delivers member and guest service, promotes memberships and programs, and supports sales, retention, and engagement. The role also coordinates program registration and administrative tasks to help create a positive facility experience.

What you'll do

• Implement membership sales and retention strategies
• build member relationships and resolve service issues
• promote program and membership enrollment
• coordinate phone, walk-in, and web registration
• maintain and communicate membership procedures
• coordinate financial transactions with the Resource Operations Center as needed
• assist with membership and community events
• complete required training and follow YMCA policies and safety procedures.
