Associate Grocery Food Buyer

What you'll do

• Order food products to meet forecasted demand
• secure product costs, quality, and service
• manage inventory and turn goals
• build relationships with vendors, store operations, distribution center, and division personnel
• assess inventory, market conditions, availability, and promotional impact
• review promotional results
• resolve store inventory and billing discrepancies
• analyze reports
• visit stores as required
• manage accounts payable variances
• coordinate product flow with warehouse operations.
