Precision Jamb Fabrication Technician

Compensation is $18–$20 per hour. The Precision Jamb Fabrication Technician role is onsite in Denton, TX, with a Monday–Friday first shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. numerically; the posting states pay is DOE. Anchor Custom Fabrications produces door-jamb components. The technician sets up and operates fabrication equipment to form, join, and machine metal components to specifications. Inspection, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety and quality requirements help keep production accurate and on schedule.

What you'll do

• Review job packets and set angles and stops, change dies, and adjust saw tension
• operate saw, press brake, welding, and milling equipment to fabricate jamb components
• inspect parts against specifications using precision measuring tools
• read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
• troubleshoot equipment and process issues and escalate as needed
• maintain safety, quality, and productivity targets
• apply FIFO material rotation
• support adjacent work areas as production priorities shift.

Why this role
