The Direct Support Professional – Home and Community-Based Services role is onsite in Chandler, Arizona, supporting individuals in family homes and the community. Compensation is $17.50 per hour. Embrace Life Services provides support to people with developmental disabilities. The DSP helps individuals pursue personal goals, maintain independence, and improve quality of life through daily living assistance, personal care, skill development, and community participation. The role also supports safety, positive behavior strategies, communication with families and supervisors, and accurate service documentation.

What you'll do

• Assist with daily living activities, personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, meal preparation, mobility, and transfers
• administer and document medications if trained and authorized
• provide companionship and promote self-advocacy and independence
• support life-skill development and community activities
• follow Individual Support Plans and Positive Behavior Support strategies
• maintain a safe environment and follow emergency and incident reporting procedures
• document services and progress
• communicate with families, guardians, and supervisors
• follow company policies, state regulations, and HCBS requirements.

Why this role
