Armed Security Officer — Temporary, Per Diem

The Armed Security Officer role is onsite in the MetroWest Massachusetts area, with locations in Wayland or Arlington, and pay of $26–$27 per hour. This temporary, per-diem, part-time position is scheduled from September through October 31, with continuation subject to staffing needs and available work. The officer provides a visible security presence for residential communities and client properties. The role supports safety by patrolling, monitoring activity, responding to calls and emergencies, documenting incidents, and coordinating with supervisors and emergency responders.

What you'll do

• Maintain a visible security presence
• conduct routine and random foot patrols
• monitor activity and identify security concerns
• respond to calls, alarms, disturbances, and emergencies
• follow company and client procedures
• prepare incident and daily activity reports
• provide customer service
• communicate with supervisors, dispatch, management, and emergency responders
• assist law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical personnel when required.
