Die Maintenance Technician — Stamping Dies and Tooling

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot die and tooling issues in presses
• perform preventive maintenance and repairs on stamping dies, including hem dies
• repair trim steels and draw punches
• make trim-line changes and hand grind
• read draw panels and strips
• inspect fixtures and engineering drawings
• perform die-steel and general welding and fabrication
• operate overhead cranes, spotting presses, and die carts safely
• maintain equipment, inventory, and records
• support associate training and 5S practices.
