The Cybersecurity Incident Response & Threat Detection Analyst role is onsite in Columbus, OH; Horizon Industries provides full-cycle IT consulting and management support to public- and private-sector clients. The analyst helps protect the enterprise network by monitoring security tools, investigating alerts and logged events, and responding to threats. The role also supports cybersecurity tools and applications and helps apply defense-in-depth signatures and perimeter controls.

What you'll do

• Participate in 24x7x365 monitoring of SIEM and other cybersecurity tools
• detect, analyze, and respond to unauthorized activity and threats
• review event logs for attack or compromise trends
• monitor for advanced persistent threats and low-and-slow attacks using intelligence resources including OSINT
• provide technical analysis and sustainment support for cybersecurity tools and applications
• assist with defense-in-depth signatures and perimeter defense controls.
