The Medical Assistant – Mobile Medicine, Health on Wheels role is onsite in Sacramento, CA. Pay is $25–$29.50 per hour. Elica Health Centers’ mobile clinics serve people facing barriers to care and underserved students at selected schools. The medical assistant supports providers and licensed professionals with clinical and administrative work, helping maintain patient flow and deliver care through the mobile medicine program. The role includes patient intake, clinical measurements, testing, documentation, and follow-up coordination.

What you'll do

• Prepare exam rooms
• greet and prepare patients
• take vitals, history, and allergies
• reconcile medications
• enter information in the EHR
• assist with exams and procedures
• administer ordered injections and diagnostic tests
• document immunizations
• perform laboratory and screening tests within the role’s scope
• register and check out patients
• schedule follow-ups
• prepare charts
• and maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
