Head of Electrical Estimating Team

What you'll do

• Lead and direct the estimating team
• train and coach estimators
• prioritize bids and balance workload
• develop budgets, conceptual estimates, and competitive bids
• review construction documents
• complete or oversee electrical takeoffs and scope reviews
• price labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work
• evaluate risks, exclusions, discrepancies, and cost-saving alternatives
• maintain estimating processes and standards
• conduct final estimate reviews
• obtain and negotiate vendor pricing
• represent the company at preconstruction meetings, site visits, interviews, and presentations
• maintain industry relationships
• coordinate estimating-to-construction handoffs.

Why this role
