Senior Tax Accountant

Job overview

The Senior Tax Accountant role is in office in Alhambra, CA, with an option to work hybrid, and compensation of $100,000–$120,000 per year. The role supports Astrana Health’s corporate tax function across a consolidated group of more than 60 legal entities. The accountant prepares and reviews tax provisions and supports federal, California, and multistate compliance and reporting. The role also maintains tax documentation and identifies automation and process improvements to reduce manual work.

What you'll do

• Prepare and initially review quarterly and annual income tax provisions
• support uncertain tax position analysis, reconciliations, effective tax rate analysis, and cash tax forecasting
• prepare federal and state tax workpapers
• maintain apportionment data and filing matrices
• calculate extensions and estimated payments
• maintain tax records and documentation.
