The Pharmacy Intern position is onsite in Dayton, OH, with pay of $17.79–$22.21 per hour. Equitas Health is a community-based healthcare system serving patients through medical, pharmacy, dental, behavioral health, and social services. Under a supervising pharmacist, the intern supports pharmacy operations and patient access to medications, provides pharmaceutical information and consultation within the role’s scope, and collaborates with care teams to support medication adherence and health outcomes.

What you'll do

• Assist the Pharmacy Manager and pharmacists with daily operations
• support patient recruitment and retention
• transfer prescriptions under pharmacist direction
• provide patient consultation under supervision
• support specialty therapy, adherence, disease-management, and immunization services as allowed by law
• coordinate with medical providers and support staff
• help patients access assistance services
• follow pharmacy laws and regulations.
