Senior Business Analyst

Job overview

The Senior Business Analyst role is onsite five days per week in Washington, DC. The anticipated salary range is $80,000–$100,000 per year. The position supports the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Office of the Chief Information Officer. The analyst strengthens IT governance and program management by translating stakeholder needs into requirements, governance materials, and process improvements. The work helps align IT investment and program decisions with the Capital Planning and Investment Control process and the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution cycle.

What you'll do

• Support DOT IT governance boards, review forums, decision processes, and modernization
• analyze and improve governance policies and processes
• maintain governance documentation
• elicit, document, validate, and manage requirements
• facilitate stakeholder workshops and meetings
• support CPIC, PPBE, and FITARA activities
• prepare executive briefings, reports, dashboards, and other deliverables
• track risks, issues, and dependencies.
