Machine Operator I

Job overview

The Machine Operator I role is onsite at the Monroe, WA headquarters. Pay is $20–$24 per hour. Sportworks develops transportation products intended to support active and multimodal mobility. The operator produces metal-fabricated parts to drawings and specifications, checks dimensions and quality, and works with Operations teams to meet production goals. The role also contributes to equipment upkeep and process improvement.

What you'll do

• Operate production equipment such as punch presses, CNC mills and benders, band saws, and drill presses
• produce parts to specifications and tolerances
• measure finished parts with precision tools
• interpret blueprints and drawings
• verify current drawing revisions
• identify worn or misused tools and notify a lead or supervisor when maintenance is needed
• and participate in Kaizen process-improvement events.
