Compensation is $20–$30 per hour. The Emergency Department Technician — PRN role is onsite in Glenwood Springs, CO. in the structured pay fields; the posting lists $20.41–$30.02 per hour plus a 14% PRN differential, with additional shift differentials. Valley View Hospital is a Level III trauma hospital with a 13-bed emergency department and two trauma bays. The technician supports emergency care under the direction of emergency physicians and registered nurses. By assisting with patient monitoring, procedures, transport, room turnover, and supplies, the role helps the department provide timely care during coverage shifts.

What you'll do

• Assist with patient transport
• obtain vital signs and place EKG leads
• perform 12-lead EKGs
• assist with ambulation, IV starts, lab sample collection, and patient positioning
• document care and patient response
• clean and turn over emergency department rooms
• stock supplies in rooms and specialty carts.

Why this role

PRN coverage for day, evening, and weekend shifts as needed. Current American Heart Association BLS certification required; EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic strongly preferred; EMT-Basic with IV certification may be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available.
