Medical Assistant

Job overview

The Medical Assistant role is onsite in Spokane, WA, with pay of $20–$24 per hour. The position supports the delivery of urological services in the medical office. The role combines routine clinical and administrative work to help the practice run smoothly and support effective patient care. The Medical Assistant prepares patients and rooms, assists providers, maintains accurate records, and coordinates office workflows with the interdisciplinary team.

What you'll do

• Perform administrative and clinical duties under supervisor direction
• coordinate and schedule patient appointments
• greet and prepare patients
• measure and record vital signs and patient histories
• provide patient education
• prepare patients for examinations and perform routine screening tests
• assist physicians with exams
• collect specimens and perform basic lab tests
• prepare and administer medications with physician authorization
• maintain patient logs, records, rooms, and office flow
• assist with in-office procedures and staff orientation. EKGs may be performed after required training
• CPR may be performed when BLS certified.
