Job overview

The Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Consultant is an onsite role located within DHHS offices across Maine, including Portland. Compensation is not specified in the posting. This role is a partnership between Community Health and Counseling Services and the Maine Department of Health and Human Services. This role provides substance use assessments, treatment recommendations, and referrals for individuals and families involved in the child welfare system. The consultant supports family reunification goals and provides training to OCFS staff on substance use disorder topics.
