Resident Assistant / Caregiver

Job overview

The Resident Assistant / Caregiver role is onsite in Silver Bay, MN, and is part-time. Compensation is $19–$22.50 per hour, with additional shift differentials of $1 per hour for PM and $1.50 per hour for overnight shifts. The role supports residents in Carefree Living’s assisted living community; AM, PM, and overnight schedules are available. The role exists to provide resident-centered daily support and help maintain a safe, healthy living environment. It contributes to residents’ quality of life through assistance with activities of daily living, medication administration after RN-provided training, and respectful relationship-building.

• Build relationships with residents

Why this role

Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required. CNA certification is not required. The position requires passing a basic written competency and skills test and meeting physical requirements.
