What you'll do

• Reposition tractors and trailers in the yard and back trailers to dock doors
• inspect the yard and document vehicle defects
• record equipment readings and send them to the lease company
• check refrigerated trailer temperatures
• ensure warehouse team members have trailers to load or unload
• assist with unloading when necessary
• shuttle equipment, take trailers for washing, and assist with backhauls
• maintain required vehicle and DOT paperwork
• follow safety policies and attend training.

Why this role

Two schedule options are listed: Sunday and Monday 8:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. plus Thursday and Friday 11:00 a.m.–9:30 p.m. or until loading is complete; or Sunday–Wednesday noon–10:30 p.m. or until loading is complete. Mandatory overtime may be needed.
