What you'll do

• Actively supervise children and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
• build respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• use classroom technology for communication, documentation, and assessment
• observe, assess, and respond to children's developmental, behavioral, and learning needs
• implement curriculum and plan developmentally appropriate learning experiences
• maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• collaborate with the team
• meet applicable DCF, NAEYC, HighScope, COR Advantage, and YoungStar requirements
• complete required background checks, certifications, and training.

Why this role

Prior early childhood education experience is required. Must be registered or eligible to register with Wisconsin's Registry; required training includes Pediatric First Aid, CPR/AED, Abusive Head Trauma Prevention, and mandated reporter training. HighScope or Conscious Discipline experience is preferred.
