The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) role is onsite in Winchester, VA, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with a base pay range of $18.71–$21.52 per hour. What you'll do
- Greet and escort patients
- prepare appointment notes and templates
- measure and document vital signs in the electronic medical record
- perform EKGs under established protocols
- review interim health history and alert providers to significant changes or urgent concerns
- retrieve and organize records
- assist patients with forms
- support providers during examinations and procedures
- answer patient calls within scope
- schedule appointments, tests, and referrals
- follow OSHA and HIPAA requirements
- monitor and restock clinical supplies
- maintain examination rooms.
