Mental Health Professional — Correctional Health

The Mental Health Professional — Correctional Health role is onsite in Portales, NM, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Pay is $41–$44 per hour. The role provides mental health services to inmates or clients in a correctional facility. The professional conducts assessments, identifies treatment needs, coordinates care with medical and security staff, and provides clinical interventions, crisis response, and treatment planning. What you'll do

• Conduct intakes, evaluations, and assessments
• identify symptoms and treatment needs
• coordinate with physicians, prescribers, psychiatrists, and facility staff
• provide non-pharmacological treatment when appropriate
• respond to mental health crises and suicide risk
• develop treatment plans
• document services
• provide staff consultation and training.

Why this role
