The engineer supports Bosch Mobility Aftermarket’s Automotive Service Solutions diagnostics group. The role exists to develop software for electronic diagnostic devices and help shape new products. It contributes through software architecture, implementation, production support, hardware integration, and collaboration across departments in a manufacturing facility.

What you'll do

• Develop software using C++, C#, Java, and/or Android
• help define software architecture and design
• participate in design and code reviews and follow development practices
• provide system-wide problem-solving and production support
• support board bring-up, troubleshooting, device-driver development, and automated builds
• collaborate across departments. Embedded Linux, Android/Linux board support packages, and device-driver experience are desired.
