Structures Engineer

What you'll do

• Participate in design and flight sciences reviews
• use finite element analysis and classical methods to evaluate strength, deflection, vibration, fatigue life, and damage tolerance
• develop structural layouts and sizing for propulsor and platform concepts
• support flight-project testing, studies, and proposals
• provide structural engineering guidance to project personnel and contractors
• develop material allowables
• create analysis tools
• support product integration
• write technical reports for peer review.
