The Electric Forklift Field Service Technician role is an onsite, full-time field position serving Cheraw, Chesterfield County, and the surrounding territory in South Carolina. Starting pay is $35 per hour, with higher starting pay based on experience and diagnostic expertise. WMH Solutions supports industrial businesses with material handling equipment, service, parts, rentals, fleet solutions, and automation. The technician diagnoses, services, and repairs electric forklifts and battery-powered material handling equipment at customer sites. The work keeps customer equipment operating through accurate troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, safe repairs, clear customer communication, and complete service documentation.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical problems
• use schematics, wiring diagrams, fault codes, multimeters, and diagnostic software
• troubleshoot motors, controllers, batteries, and charging systems
• perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and safety checks
• explain findings to customers
• document work
• maintain the service van, tools, and parts
• follow safe service practices.
