Claims Counsel — Remote

What you'll do

• Investigate claims and determine coverage and possible resolutions
• determine whether to retain outside counsel and manage claims or litigation through resolution
• negotiate with claimants, opposing counsel, and third parties
• participate in mediations and required court appearances
• review and approve cost and attorney-fee invoices
• assist with recovery evaluations
• maintain claim-file documentation
• evaluate and respond to clearance and curative demands
• handle other assigned projects.
