What you'll do

• Place purchase orders
• manage purchase-to-pay activities, vendor confirmations, and delivery-date updates
• maintain purchasing system data and vendor documents
• coordinate with vendors, logistics, sales managers, customer service, and accounts payable
• negotiate volume discounts and price breaks where possible
• manage purchasing system issues
• maintain product dating information to reduce close-dated and expired product impact.
