Human Resources Manager

The Human Resources Manager role is onsite in Amelia, OH, with travel at least monthly to Dayton and Cleveland, Ohio, and Eastern Kentucky. Pay is $90,000 per year. A&A Safety is a family-owned highway subcontractor serving Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana with pavement marking, traffic control, removal, grooving, and barrier wall work. The manager owns the day-to-day HR function and serves as a resource to employees, supervisors, and management. The role supports a largely field-based and union workforce through benefits, recruiting, compliance, labor relations, training, and employee relations, including seasonal hiring needs.

What you'll do

• Manage benefits administration, workers’ compensation and safety support, unemployment claims, recruiting and onboarding, training records, compliance and employee relations, and labor relations. Coordinate union contract administration, grievances, and fringe reporting
• support OSHA recordkeeping and DOT testing programs
• and travel to company locations at least monthly.
