Apartment Maintenance Technician — Redwood City

Job overview

The Apartment Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Redwood City, CA, with a Tuesday–Friday schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Compensation is $29–$32 per hour. The technician supports a new luxury apartment community in Redwood City's Broadway neighborhood; Woodmont's mission is to provide superior service to people who live and work at managed properties. The role keeps the community safe, clean, and welcoming by responding to resident requests, maintaining apartments and shared areas, and coordinating work with residents, vendors, and team members.

What you'll do

• Respond to resident service requests and perform repairs and preventive maintenance
• complete apartment make-ready inspections, punch lists, vendor scheduling, and walkthroughs
• manage supplies and document work
• clean and maintain common areas
• support cost control through repairs and efficient supply use
• participate in safety meetings
• inspect vendor work
• assist with property inspections
• respond to after-hours and weekend emergencies on a rotating on-call basis.
